Background

Ever since I was a teenager, I had wanted to visit New Zealand. Once I finished school, that dream became reality. I traveled the majority of the country in a leisurely 2 week span. From the tropics of the North island, to the rugged mountains of the South island, and everything in between. The Kiwis are extremely friendly, and the native Maori culture is a thing of beauty. I went whale watching along the coast of Kaikoura, backpacking into the mountains of Christchurch, hunting for glow worms in Rotorua, and made my very first skydive in Queenstown. By all accounts, this trip abroad has held a long-lasting impact on me.
